Scoring Big for Student Success

T-Mobile for Education is committed to powering student success on the field, in the classroom, and at home. To support student-athletes across small-town America, T-Mobile launched the Friday Night 5G Lights competition. Partnering with Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski, the initiative received entries from over 1,700 high schools across all fifty states.

Inola High School was named the inaugural grand prize winner and won a two million dollar prize to transform its football field into a state-of-the-art stadium. This massive upgrade positively impacts 423 students and the broader Inola community of nearly 1,900 residents. The new facility features a professional grade turf field, a teched-out scoreboard, a new weight room, and a full 5G network upgrade package to support new educational initiatives.

Beyond athletics, this powerful 5G network upgrade enables digitally connected schools, unifies learning experiences, and enhances campus safety.
